The Tillandsia Xerographica has wide curly leaves and is silvery green in appearance. When in bloom it blushes light pink and emits a beautiful green, yellow, and red inflorescence that can last for months. It will then produce light purple flowers.
The medium Xerographica can range in size from 6-8 inches in diameter, depending on leaf structure.
Echeveria leaves are fleshy and have a waxy cuticle on the exterior. Often the leaves are colored and a firm touch can mar the skin and leave marks. The Echeveria succulent plant is slow growing and usually doesn’t exceed 12 inches (31 cm.) in height or spread.
As much as we enjoy our houseplants for their pretty leaves alone, it can feel like a truly momentous occasion when flowers appear. Here are some of our favorites for adding extra color and even fragrance to our indoor gardens.
African Violet - Peace Lily - Anthurium - Kalanchoe - Christmas Cactus - Begonia
